New headquarters and logistics centre in the Avantis Business park
Founded in 1996 as a small store in Aachen, FC-Moto has developed into one of the world’s leading online retailers for motorcycle clothing and accessories. The construction of a new headquarters in the Avantis Business Park demonstrates a significant milestone in the company’s history, which was made possible not least by the loyalty of customers, manufacturers and partners.
FC-Moto’s new headquarters covers a 36,000 m2 site with over 20,000 m2 of logistics space and around 1,700 m2 of administrative space . The Avantis site benefits from its favorable location and excellent infrastructure.
“Our new headquarters not only creates more space, but also offers numerous advantages for our partners and customers,” says Farshid Chalatbari, founder and Managing Director of FC-Moto. “We rely on an automated storage and picking system to manage the constantly growing order volume and optimize shipping processes.”
With the new building, FC-Moto is opening up a forward-looking perspective not only for customers, but also for employees. The company headquarters in the Avantis Business Park offers modern offices, versatile workspaces, spacious indoor and outdoor break areas and much more. The consolidation of logistics and administration at one location will also strengthen the sense of community and create space for more intensive exchange. Sustainability is also a top priority at FC-Moto: A large photovoltaic system on the roof, charging points for electric vehicles and over 6,000 m2 of green space with bee-friendly planting all help to make a contribution to the environment.
